Tree Plant Donations to End the Year 2021

Over the past 11 years, we’ve donated tree plants to compensate for the carbon emissions generated from our events. Although this year was (again) a bit different, we still want to continue with this green tradition.

All businesses need to do their part in trying to operate in a sustainable way. After all, we didn’t inherit this world from our parents, we merely lease it from our children. One of the things we’ve committed to doing each year is to compensate for the carbon footprint of our events by donating a tree plant for every person who bought a ticket to our main event (e.g. in 2019, we donated 7,655 trees).

In 2021, we obviously haven’t been able to organize almost any of the in-person events normally. This is why we decided to instead compensate for the carbon footprint of each of our employees at Nordic Business Forum, Oslo Business Forum, and Denk Producties.

Therefore, from 2011 to this day, we’ve donated 54,320 trees in total.

“Even though this year was a bit different, we feel it’s important to continue to contribute towards a sustainable planet. We need to try to do our part”, says Hans-Peter Siefen, CEO of Business Forum Group.

Finally, our entire team sends a warm thank you to everyone who joined us this year in one way or another! Hopefully, we’ll see you next year again!
