Priit Liiv Nominated as Interim Managing Director for Nordic Business Forum

Nordic Business Forum CEO, Aslak de Silva takes on new challenges, and current COO, Priit Liiv, steps in as an Interim Managing Director.

As of tomorrow, 15th of February 2022, Aslak de Silva, Nordic Business Forum’s CEO since March 2018, is moving to new challenges. Our entire team and the board of directors want to thank Aslak for a great 4-year run, and wish him good luck in his new career!

“It has been an honor to get to work with such a devoted team and amazing customers and partners. Still, I have decided to start a new chapter in my professional career. But I can promise that I will continue to be the biggest fan of Nordic Business Forum and a customer for life. I know the company will do great things in the future”, says Aslak.

On the same day, the company’s current COO and shareholder, Priit Liiv, will be taking over Aslak’s responsibilities as an Interim Managing Director for the time being. Priit has worked for Nordic Business Forum since the establishment of its Tallinn office in November 2012. He also became a shareholder in the company in 2017.

“Priit has a strong background for this role through having built our operations in the Baltics and having acted as the COO since 2020”, states Mika Mäkeläinen, the Chairman at Nordic Business Forum and Business Forum Group.

“His work at Nordic Business Forum is one of the biggest success stories within the company. It’s great to have someone like him to take the lead”, adds Business Forum Group’s CEO Hans-Peter Siefen.
