How to Apply for the 2023 Speaker Contest

Do you have an idea you are passionate about? Would you like to share it with the business leaders of the world? Do you have what it takes to get up on stage in front of thousands of people?

If you answered yes (or even maybe) to the questions above, you might just be who we are looking for!

Our Speaker Contest is looking for a passionate, talented, up-and-coming speaker for our 2023 events in Helsinki, Oslo, and Amsterdam. The winner of the contest will get up on stage at Nordic Business Forum, Oslo Business Forum, and Amsterdam Business Forum for the chance to inspire thousands of business leaders. Of course, the winner will also be compensated for their work with a 50,000 euro speaker fee.

How to Apply

Start with the idea. What is an idea you are passionate and knowledgable about, and want to share with the world? This is the foundation of your presentation, so take some time to really nail it down.

Script your pitch. This is where you convince us that your idea is important enough to share with a big audience. Why should business leaders know about the idea? Why should they adopt it? Walk us through how you are planning to execute your presentation and convince your audience – and us.

Film it! Record a short (1-4 min) preview of your speech to support your application. We want to see your confidence and excellent presentation skills. Remember, the language is English. You don’t need to have a perfect Bri’ish accent, but your pronunciation should be clear.

Finalize your application. Enter your details, attach your written pitch as well as the video recording, and select your preferred semifinal date and time. If you are sending us any links, please make sure we have access to them!

Semifinal 1, Wednesday 8 March, 10:00-12:00 EET

Semifinal 3, Thursday 16 March, 10:00-12:00 EET
Semifinal 4, Thursday 16 March, 14:00-16:00 EET

Note: All semifinals will be held remotely with a jury and contestants will dial-in.

Final:
Helsinki, Wednesday 10 May, 17:00-21:00 EEST
Note: the final will be held physically with an audience and is also streamed live.
