Group Livestream User Guide

How to organize a public screening of NBF Livestream

Thank you for purchasing the Group Livestream! Now, you can share and experience our event content with a group of employees, customers, or other stakeholders.

With the Group Livestream, you can show the Nordic Business Forum livestream or the recordings to multiple viewers in the same location. Only one device is allowed to log on to the livestream at a time, but the Group Livestream holder may use the service for a group screening (for employees, customers, students, or others).

On this page, you will find all the information to make the most of your livestream experience.

Please note that the instructions are subject to change.

If your company has a Remote Group License, you can add our live stream video player to your internal password-protected website using the guide provided here >>

1. Promote the event to your selected audience

We highly recommend you to promote the live stream opportunity and inform your audience well in advance. There are, however, a few instructions you need to follow when promoting your event.

1. You need to explicitly state that the event is an “independently organized live stream event“ in all promotion materials. You are required to use the Nordic Business Forum’s logo, which includes this text. You can find the correct logos to use in this Dropbox folder.

2. Please note that it is forbidden to use the speakers’ photos in any material without the approval of the speakers. However, you can use the photos and illustrations we provide – those have already been approved.

3. You may use our general event photos in your marketing.

4. Latest in March 2025, we will share a folder with basic information, example visuals, and speaker introductions that you can use in your marketing and communications.

Please also note that you cannot begin marketing the live stream event before the group license has been purchased. Additionally, any unauthorized use of the service will terminate the limited license granted by us and will result in the cancellation of your access without refunds.

2. Log into the Brella event platform

The event livestream will be available on the online platform Brella. The event platform will open approximately a month before the event. When it opens, you will receive a link and instructions by email.

If you’re having trouble locating an email, search for it using the sender name (Brella | Nordic Business Forum) and email address (noreply@brella.io). Don’t forget to check your spam and promotions folders.

Using Brella is very simple. Once you receive your invitation, follow these steps to log in:

  1. Go to https://next.brella.io/events
  2. Log in with the email you have used to purchase the livestream
  3. Enter or create your password
  4. Join the event “Nordic Business Forum 2025”
  5. Update your profile or continue with your existing account
  6. Once you’re in Brella, click the “Livestream” tab
  7. Click the full-screen icon on the lower-right corner of the video player to enjoy the full experience
  8. Sit back and enjoy! The livestream broadcast will start playing automatically once it is available

If you don’t see the event after signing in, click ‘join event’ and input your unique join code. You can find your code from the invitation email in your inbox using the sender name (Brella | Nordic Business Forum) and email address (noreply@brella.io). Remember to check your spam and promotions folders.

If you have purchased multiple livestream licenses, your code can be used multiple times. E.g. if you have 3 licenses, your code can be used 3 times. Therefore, you can give the Brella access to your colleagues by sharing the same join code.

3. Check these technical tips

  • You do not need to download anything to view the live stream. The video plays automatically in your browser. We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser to ensure the best possible experience.
  • You need a minimum of 10Mb/10Mb Internet speed for clear video quality. You can check your current speed at http://www.speedtest.net
  • For a stable connection, we recommend using an Ethernet cable to connect to your internet during the live stream. Wi-Fi may also work well, but an Ethernet connection will be much more reliable. Please note that Nordic Business Forum is not responsible for any data connection charges related to your viewing on mobile devices or from alternative platforms or services.
  • Check the sound and screen resolution on your live stream viewing device before the event. Ensure that the volume levels and brightness settings are adjusted to suit the room where the live stream will be displayed.
  • You can test the live stream whenever you have logged into Brella. An introduction video that you can use for testing can be found on the “Livestream” tab.
  • You can select the video quality from the dropdown menu in the player. We suggest you test which works best for you and your video quality.

4. Networking during the event

You and your audience can also network with other online participants in the Brella platform. We will provide a separate join code and instructions for this during the event in the stream. Stay tuned!

If you wish, you can already download the Brella app on Google Play or App Store.

5. Enjoy presentations on demand for 90 days

The recordings of the Nordic Business Forum presentations will be available for 90 days after the event on the Brella Platform (until the 26th of December). Please note that Simon Sinek’s session recording will be available for 7 days.

On the Brella platform, you can watch the on-demand content with a group of people, just like with the live broadcast.

We encourage you to make the most of the product and revisit the presentations after the event!

Need Simultaneous Interpretation?

Professional interpreters from LanguageWire offer translations of the main stage presentations into Finnish and Estonian.

Your event audience can access the simultaneous interpretation service for free with the “Interprefy” app. The app is available in Google Play store and Apple App store. Your audience can use a token code nbforumlive2025 to access the interpretation.

The event livestream will be available on the online platform Brella. The event platform will open approximately one month before the event. You will then receive a unique invitation link by email.

Full replays of the speeches become available on the Brella platform on the day after the event. You can enjoy the event recordings there for 90 days.

If you are seeing video but not hearing audio make sure the audio on the video player is turned on. To access the audio click on the speaker at the lower left side of the video player. If you are still not hearing audio, make sure your system audio settings are correct.

If you can hear the audio, but cannot see the video try refreshing your screen by pressing the “F5” key (or Command-R on a Mac). If refreshing your screen does not solve the issue, try clicking the “HD” button at the bottom right side of your screen and selecting a lower bitrate. If the issue still persists, try using another web browser (We recommend Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox).

If you are having issues with buffering, drag your mouse cursor over the bottom right of the video player where you see the “HD” button. Once you click the “HD” button, you will be able to choose the quality of your stream. Choose the best quality bitrate that your internet connection can handle.

If you’re watching from a network that has a strict firewall service in places, such as a school or a corporation, they may need to whitelist a few domains for them to watch the event.
