Björn Wahlroos is Chairman of Wahlroos Capital and the former Chairman of Sampo, Nordea and UPM-Kymmene. 

Dr. Wahlroos retired from Sampo and UPM-Kymmene in 2023. He is presently engaged in the Wahlroos family businesses. He is also active in Finnish and Swedish charities and think tanks. Dr. Wahlroos has published several books; the third volume of his memoirs is expected in the fall of 2025.
